the remnants of history

Hey
Today I am sharing a canvas , made with an image found in a history book " In search of Alexander".
The image shows remains of vases etc from a tomb. Loved the colors and texture in the image.

Process
  1. draw faint lines with a pencil around the pic  and then covered rest of the canvas with crackle paste from decoart.
  2. I applied some decoupoage medium on Creative embellishment chipboards and then covered it with embossing powder and heat it with heating tool
  3. Tied the twine around the canvas and secured them with masking tape at the back of the canvas.
  4. applied lots of paint, pearl powder and inked to give dimensions
